Job Description:

We are actively recruiting for the position of Local Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established franchise-approved car dealership located in Oxford. • Basic salary of £27,000 with an on-target earnings (OTE) of up to £50,000 based on performance

Duties of a Business Development Manager:

• Develop and nurture relationships with local businesses and fleet clients
• Generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
• Promote vehicles, finance solutions, and related services
• Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle delivery
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to generate repeat business
• Achieve sales and profitability targets as outlined by company directives

Requirements of a Business Development Manager:

• Minimum of UK driving licence with minimal points
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Oxford
• Previous experience in automotive, fleet, or commercial sales, ideally within a business development role
• Strong communication and customer care skills
• Well-presented, proactive, self-motivated, and tenacious
• Demonstrable success in business-to-business sales
