ASD Assistant - Bicester

Your Role as an ASD Assistant

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to students with ASD.
• Helping students engage with lessons and classroom activities.
• Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Helping students manage changes in routine and transitions throughout the school day.
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual learning needs.
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking for in an ASD Assistant

• Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• Patient, calm, empathetic, and reliable.
• Confident communicating with students and staff.
• Able to build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
• Interested in developing a career within education or specialist support.
• Experience working with ASD or other additional needs is welcomed but not essential.

Pay: £93-£110 per day
