ASD Assistant - Oxford

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?

A specialist school in Oxford is seeking a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic ASD Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers who want to build valuable, hands-on experience working with young people with autism and additional needs.

As an ASD Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual students with ASD.
• Support students with communication, social interaction, emotional regulation and independence.
• Help students access learning and participate positively within the classroom.
• Use consistent and supportive strategies to encourage engagement, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Work alongside teachers and other professionals to create a structured, inclusive and supportive environment.

We're looking for an ASD Assistant who is:

• A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working with individuals with ASD.
• Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, education or therapy.

• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
