Job Description:

We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy, modern dealership in Kidlington. This is an excellent opportunity to join our nationwide, multi-franchise approved dealer group.

• Monday to Friday working hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, plus one in four Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:30pm, paid as overtime.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• As a Vehicle Technician, carry out fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance to the Service Manager.
• Complete all work to the required quality procedures and franchise standards.
• Work efficiently within a busy dealership environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Support team targets and contribute positively to the workshop’s performance.

Requirements:

• The successful Vehicle Technician must hold IMI or NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, as a minimum.
• Several years of post-qualification workshop experience is desirable.
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points is required.
• You must be committed, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• The ability to produce high-quality work while working towards team targets is essential.
• An active MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
• This Vehicle Technician position is suited to a motivated individual seeking long-term progression within an established automotive group.
