Key Responsibilities



Procurement Planning & Delivery

• Support the development and maintenance of procurement plans aligned with programme schedules and budget requirements.
• Assist with the implementation of sourcing strategies to support programme delivery.
• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely supply of goods and services.
• Source ad hoc requirements and manage purchase requisitions.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Support supplier identification, prequalification and evaluation activities.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding processes, including confidentiality agreements and commercial terms.
• Prepare supplier performance data and support supplier development initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply, innovation and value creation.
• Assist with the development and monitoring of supplier performance measures.
• Support contract award processes and contract administration activities.
• Coordinate contract correspondence, notices and claims documentation where required.
• Assist with the resolution of invoice and purchase order queries.

Cost & Performance Improvement

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement across procurement activities.
• Support tracking and reporting of cost-saving initiatives against programme targets.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Develop effective working relationships across multiple business functions.
• Coordinate communication between project teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Escalate emerging risks and issues in a timely manner to support programme delivery.

Reporting & Governance

• Maintain accurate procurement and contract records.
• Produce regular reports on procurement performance, supplier activity and programme progress.
• Support compliance with organisational policies, legal requirements and industry standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Experience within Contracts & Procurement, preferably within motorsport, automotive, engineering, manufacturing or a similar technical environment.
• Basic understanding of contract law, procurement principles and commercial negotiation techniques.
• Exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract activities.
• Degree-level qualification in a technical, engineering or commercial discipline.
• CIPS qualification or working towards membership would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
