Office Assistant - 12 month Fixed Term Contract Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

• Delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for visitors, phone callers, and internal teams.
• Managing reception duties, including greeting guests and handling inquiries efficiently.
• Supporting various teams with administrative tasks related to projects, events, and meetings.
• Coordinating meeting room bookings, setting up facilities, and ensuring equipment is in working order.
• Maintaining accurate records, correspondence, and filing systems, including document preparation and record keeping.
• Assisting with organisation of events, including logistics and attendee communication.
• Providing general office support, including mail handling, ordering supplies, and liaising with contractors.

Office Assistant - 12 month Fixed Term Contract Rewards

• £26,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
• The working hours are generally 8.30am-4pm, with an unpaid lunch break.

Office Assistant - 12 month Fixed Term Contract Experience Essentials

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience organising meetings, managing diaries, and preparing documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of organisation with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discretely and support colleagues professionally.
• Familiarity with business systems such as SharePoint, CRM, or similar databases is desirable.

Location
This is an office-based role in an environment with limited public transport; thus, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. The organisation offers onsite parking and occasional travel for events.
