Field Sales Solutions have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Insights Manager!

We are a leading field marketing company, and we represent the fastest growing confectionery company in the UK – Ferrero.  Whilst you will be employed by Field Sales Solutions, you will be assigned to work for one of our largest clients Ferrero.  Ferrero is a rapidly expanding FMCG Company that encompasses iconic brands such as Ferrero Rocher, Kinder, Nutella, Tic Tac, Thorntons, and Fox’s biscuits.

The Insights Manager role sits within the Commercial Insights group which is responsible for driving insights to support achievement of the business objectives of the Ferrero Field Sales team across channels to market. 

In return for joining us as an Insights Manager, we can offer you a competitive salary of between

£55,000 - £65,000 p.a. (DOE) + Car allowance + benefits.

Location: Field Sales Solutions Head Office – Thame, Oxfordshire

Hybrid model working – role requires office attendance weekly.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

• Line-manage and coach the 2 x Senior Insights Analysts, ensuring high performance and development in both technical and client engagement capabilities.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, workload prioritization, and mentoring support to the team.
• Support the team in creating compelling, insight-led presentations using diverse data sources (Field, EPOS, Market, Consumer, and Trade data).
• Conduct formal performance reviews and support with development planning in line with company policy.

Strategic Insight Delivery

• Deliver monthly performance analysis for Field Management, including performance drivers and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Strategic Insights Project Analyst to ensure learnings are aligned across departments and consistently leveraged across projects.
• Contribute to Ferrero’s business priorities by generating insights that align with strategic KPIs.

Client Relationship Management

• Act as a point of escalation for client stakeholders across Ferrero’s channel teams.
• Support Commercial Controller on high-level, ad hoc commercial projects including brand onboarding, modelling changes, and C-suite presentation preparation.
• Maintain strong client relationships by delivering timely, high-quality insight outputs that add measurable value.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Field Teams to ensure alignment in ways of working and mutual understanding of insights outputs.
• Ensure insights are embedded effectively across internal teams such as Operations and Field Sales.
• Maintain proactive communication between Insights, Field Sales, and the broader commercial function.

Operational Excellence & Best Practice

• Identify and implement improved analytical processes and tools, ensuring consistency and excellence in deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the Insights function to ensure efficiencies and alignment with business needs.
• Contribute to the development of cross-departmental reporting processes and data consistency.

Skills required:

• Management & Coaching Experience: Proven track record in managing and coaching teams, working cross-functionally, particularly within data, insights, or operations functions. Ability to drive performance and ensure the team delivers against business objectives.
• Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in managing client relationships, ideally within a field sales or similar environment. Demonstrated ability to influence clients with data-driven insights and recommendations that improve sales performance.
• Analytical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in analysing  datasets, identifying key trends, and producing high-quality reports. Expertise in ROI modelling and delivering actionable insights to senior stakeholders to drive business performance.
• Operational Efficiency: Solid understanding of operational processes and systems with a strong focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness. Experience in managing operational teams and overseeing process improvements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple departments (such as Data, IT, Sales, and Operations) to ensure seamless data integration, accurate reporting, and efficient execution of business strategies.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients.
