HV/LV Project Manager

 My client is looking for a HV/LV Project Manager located around the M4 / M3 Corridor including Reading, Newbury, Swindon, Didcot, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton, Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Exeter, Oxford or areas commutable to Didcot.

We are looking for an experienced HV/LV Project Manager to join our client, supporting major electrical infrastructure projects across the South West and South Central regions.

Jonta Recruitment are working with a rapidly expanding power infrastructure business looking to strengthen its project delivery team following significant contract awards and continued business growth.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing HV/LV electrical infrastructure projects ranging from approximately £50,000 to £1 million in value.

The Role

Managing multiple electrical infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Working closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors and senior management, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects across the South West and South Central regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple HV/LV projects from inception through to completion.

• Overseeing project planning, programmes, resources and delivery.

• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary site teams.

• Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance.

• Maintaining client relationships and ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can demonstrate:

• Proven project management experience within HV/LV electrical infrastructure environments.

• Experience delivering large power projects within utilities, ICP, IDNO, substations or similar sectors.

• Strong commercial awareness, including project budgets and cost management.

• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent client-facing, communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2, SMSTS, IOSH or an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.

Location

Candidates should ideally be based along the M4 or M3 corridor, including Reading, Newbury, Swindon, Didcot, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton, Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Exeter, Oxford or surrounding areas.

The role will involve travel to project locations across the wider South West and South Central regions, including recently secured projects in Bristol and Exeter.
