As an HGV Tramping Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting Crane equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high safety standards throughout your journey. Duties

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently across various routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load, secure, and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper handling of Crane equipment during transit.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Complete accurate delivery documentation.
• Maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with clients, Construction staff.
• Follow all company policies regarding driving hours, rest periods, and compliance with transportation regulations to ensure safety at all times

Qualifications

• Valid HGV driving license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating Articulated Lorries.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transportation laws applicable to commercial driving
• Experience with Heavy Haulage.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
• Excellent time management skills.
• Good physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when necessary
