Job Description:

An established and growing organisation in Wallingford is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join its finance leadership team.

This is a broad and commercially focused role, offering responsibility for financial reporting, controls, team leadership and process improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information while supporting wider business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting activities
• Ensure robust financial controls and balance sheet integrity
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reporting packs
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making
• Manage, mentor and develop members of the finance team
• Drive finance process improvements and automation initiatives
• Support audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business

About You

You'll be an experienced finance professional with a strong technical accounting background and previous experience managing teams within a fast-paced environment.You will ideally possess:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Strong systems and process improvement mindset
• Ability to operate effectively in a changing and growing organisation
